The final game of the five game series between the Savannah Sand Gnats and the Charleston RuverDogs was played Sunday afternoon in front of 805 fans at Grayson Stadium.
After 9 innings the score was 4-4 and Charleston rallied in the 13 inning scoring 4 runs to win the game 8-4.
In the Savannah 8th inning,
Aderline Rodriquez hit a home run with a runner on base to tie the score at 4-4. It was the 16th home run for
Rodriquez and his 3rd home run against Charleston in the five game series. The Sand Gnats had 6 hits for the game and
Dustin Lawley was 3-for-5 with a double and 2 singles and a run scored.
Starting Savannah pitcher,
Domingo Tapia, pitched 7 innings, allowed 4 runs on 5 hits, walked 1 and struck out 3.
Carlos Vasquez pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings, gave up 2 hits, 1BB, and struck out 3.
Chasen Bradford, pitched 2 1/3 shutout innings, 0BB, no walks or strikeouts. Losing pitcher,
